Four partners begin.
In 2003, four Rotary Clubs in Oakville, Ontario -- Oakville, Oakville Trafalgar, Oakville
West and Oakville North -- decide they should have a joint International Centennial
Project. They'd like to do a water project.
Then there are six.
The four Clubs send a group to meet with the ZENON Corporation to talk about
possibilities and find them ready to be a partner so we can share our strengths.
They are sure their suppliers will work with them.
Adding three more partners; now there's nine.
Through Rotary International and through contacts with African Rotary Districts, a
search for a site and a Rotarian Partner is undertaken. A joint group from Rotary and
ZENON go to Africa. We have a new partner, The Rotary Club of Tzaneen. As the
water plant will be installed in their town, they gain the help and partnership of the
Municipality of Tzaneen and their Rotary District.
Two more partners make eleven.
Ongoing with the above steps is a steady and focused endeavour to be in close
contact with Rotary District 7080, and to work with and through Rotary International.
Three more to add, making fourteen!
Applications to The Rotary Foundation, to CRCID and to CIDA go forward.
