How to Apply
Dear Fellow Rotarians:

Re: Water for Humanity

Following the success of our first water project in Tzaneen, South Africa (District 9250),
we are now looking for the location of our next water plant installation.

Our partner, Zenon Corporation, is a world leader in the development and installation of
water filtration systems that address the particular problem of viral and bacterial
contaminants. "Water For Humanity" is a joint initiative where we hope to select a
suitable site to install such a system that is capable of treating up to 70,000 gallons
(317,800 litres) of drinkable water daily to its inhabitants.

The key factors that contributed to the success of our first project were strong
communications with a host Rotary Club, efficient project execution and solid prospects
for on-going sustainability. It is crucial that we find Rotary partners who can work closely
with local government agencies and community councils to enable village residents to
receive, run and maintain such a system for their own benefit.

We invite your interest and involvement. Please download and complete the
questionnaire to help you to identify a suitable candidate site in your area.

Zenon Environmental Corporation has offered to design, build and install the filtration
system at its cost and Rotary will undertake the cost of providing a suitable reservoir and
water delivery system.

Please note that our project mandate includes other technologies that may be more
suitable in addressing your particular water and sanitation needs.

Please contact the Rotary Clubs in your District and forward their inquiries or interest  to
us as soon as possible.

Thank you.
